Who we partner with
- Retailers of graded products
- Supplement and device retailers, where the product maps to an intervention page graded B or better. Commission on purchases made through a labelled link.
- Laboratories
- Direct-to-consumer and clinician-ordered labs, listed in the labs directory with their panels, countries and whether we have a structured results integration or only PDF import. Integration status is a fact about the lab, not a commercial tier.
- Research and data partners
- Academic groups and companies using the evidence dataset and API. Research access is free with an academic affiliation and a citation commitment.
- Clinics and providers
- Covered separately on the for-clinics page, because a directory listing is a different relationship with different rules.
The grade B floor
The single rule that makes affiliate revenue survivable on a site that grades evidence.
We do not carry a commercial link to a product whose intervention page is graded C, D, F, HARMFUL or INSUFFICIENT. Only A and B qualify, which are the only two grades the platform will frame as actionable anywhere — strong evidence and moderate evidence.
If a grade falls below B, the links come down on the grade change rather than at the next commercial review. That removes the most profitable part of the supplement market from us — weak evidence and high margins travel together — which is exactly why the rule is worth having and exactly why it is published rather than internal.
A partner cannot appeal a grade commercially
There is one route, and it is editorial: send evidence to editorial@longlifelist.com. It goes to a named medical reviewer, and if the grade moves, the reasoning is published verbatim in the change log with your paper named as the trigger. That is a better outcome for a good product than any commercial conversation would be.
Disclosure rules we enforce
We apply the strictest of the three main regimes everywhere, rather than varying by market. A disclosure rule that changes by geography is a rule people get wrong.
- FTC Endorsement Guides (United States)
- A material connection must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously, close to the claim, in a place a reader cannot miss. Not in a footer, not behind a "more" link, not on a separate disclosure page.
- CAP Code and ASA guidance (United Kingdom)
- Advertising must be obviously identifiable as advertising before engagement. Plain labels such as "Ad" or an explicit statement, not "#sp" or a symbol.
- ASCI Guidelines for Influencer Advertising (India)
- A prominent, upfront disclosure in the same language as the content, not buried in a list of tags, and present on every piece of promotional content rather than once on a profile.
- What that means in practice on this site
- Every commercial link carries a visible label immediately adjacent to it, in plain words, in the reading language of the market, and it cannot be removed by a campaign, a placement or a partner request.
In this market specifically: Royal Decree 1907/1996 prohibits claims that a product prevents, treats or cures disease without authorisation, and prohibits testimonials of professionals or patients as proof of efficacy. No advertising of prescription-only medicines to the public. Affiliate links are labelled as publicidad at the point of the link.
Partners are held to the same standard in their own content about us. Misrepresenting our grades, or implying that we endorse a product, ends the arrangement immediately and we say so on the affected pages.
What a partnership cannot buy
- An evidence grade, a change to one, or advance notice of one.
- A position in a ranked list, a comparison table or a directory result.
- Editorial coverage, a review, or the wording of a verdict.
- The removal of a criticism, a safety note or a correction.
- Member data of any kind, aggregated or otherwise.
- A mention in a calculator result, a protocol or an AI summary.
Commercial terms
- Commission is a fixed percentage or fee, agreed in advance, and never varies with what we say about the product.
- No advertorial, no paid editorial, no payment for placement in editorial content.
- We do not accept free product in exchange for coverage, and affiliate performance is never an input to which pages we write next.
- Prices, stock and delivery are the partner’s. We do not set them and take no share of a price increase.
- Either side can end the arrangement on 30 days’ notice. Links come down; published editorial about the product stays up, unchanged.
- Partners must tell us within five working days of a regulatory action affecting a linked product. We audit our own links against current grades quarterly.
How to propose one
Email hello@longlifelist.com with “Partnership” in the subject. Include which of your products map to which of our intervention pages, and check their grades first — if none of them is graded B or better, there is nothing we can do commercially, and we would rather tell you that in the first email than in the fourth.
